What's for dinner?

I think anyone can relate to the classic “what’s for dinner?” mental breakdown. For many, cooking isn’t about time, it’s about not knowing what to make. Recept Roulette is a mobile recipe app that tackles this everyday problem by turning decision fatigue into inspiration through a playful, ingredient-based experience.

Brief: Created as part of a one-week UI course at Berghs (Fall 2025), this project explores a mobile recipe app with a clear niche and a unique missing feature. The focus was on designing an intuitive, inspiring experience that encourages users to cook.

REsult: A playful and intuitive visual concept inspired by scrapbook aesthetics - featuring imagery of real ingredients and products, the app turns everyday cooking into a more engaging and visually inspiring recipe experience.
